In October Folias Duo had the opportunity to have a conversation and play live on Blue Lake Public Radio. It was our pleasure to return to Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp and be joined by long time announcer Bonnie Bierma. We discussed our newest release Delicate Omens along with our compositional process. In the classical world of the 21st century it is an exception to be the composer and the performer and with this interview we talked about our process as composers along with playing some of the pieces live. We played a portion of Carmen’s Creole Ballet along with the title track Delicate Omens and Andrew’s composition Cimarron.
